Studio project task:
Each student has now identified a research direction will be tested through the design of a prototypical single family house to potentially be built in future by UB students in the city of Buffalo over the course of 3 months.
Project address each of the following concerns :
1. Development of a strong position on inclusive design
2. Innovative ideas to enhance inclusion, sustainability, low cost, social responsibility and
construction buildable by students in 3 months.
3. Appropriateness for the city of Buffalo
4. Inventiveness / achievement of individual research agenda
5. Uniqueness, and design innovation
6. Communication of the intent and resolution through development of a detailed
drawing set.
