During this internship I was fortunate to work one on one with Guillermo M. Gomez. He is an amazing architect who also owns his own firm in Manhattan called GGARCHITECT. I spent two summers working with him and small team of architects, in 2014 and 2015. I specifically worked on a guest house in the Hamptons from the early stages of conception. Working with Guillermo to create hand sketches of the guest house, then taking it into google Sketchup and Autocad. This great experience taught me a lot about the design process as well as the building process and what architects deal with on a daily basis from clients to contractors.
